This notice applies to personal information handled through this website, email communications, enquiries, proposals and advisory engagements.
SafeCyph3r handles personal information transparently and responsibly. Where the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles apply, this notice is intended to support those obligations.
You may browse the public website without identifying yourself. To respond to an enquiry or establish a business relationship, we will usually require enough information to contact and identify the relevant person or organisation.
3. Information we collect
Depending on your interaction with us, we may collect:
- name, business contact details, job title and organisation;
- information submitted through the contact form or email;
- details about an enquiry, proposal, engagement or business relationship;
- billing, contracting and administrative information;
- communications, meeting notes and agreed project artefacts; and
- website server logs, IP address, device information and security events.
Do not submit credentials, detailed network configurations, classified information or restricted operational material through the public contact form. Secure exchange arrangements can be established when required.
We do not intentionally seek sensitive information through the public website. Where sensitive or security-relevant information is required for an engagement, handling arrangements will be agreed separately.

We may use personal information to respond to enquiries; prepare proposals and engagement documents; deliver and manage advisory services; communicate with clients, suppliers and professional contacts; manage billing and business records; protect our systems; and meet legal, regulatory, contractual or professional obligations.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not use it for unrelated direct marketing without an appropriate basis or consent.
6. Disclosure and overseas processing
We may disclose information to website, email, cloud, accounting and business-service providers; trusted specialists engaged with client agreement; professional advisers and insurers; authorities where required or authorised; and a legitimate successor in a business transaction.
Some providers may store or process information outside Australia or use distributed infrastructure. Service locations can change. We take reasonable steps to select reputable providers and apply appropriate access, contractual and security controls.
7. Security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information, which may include access controls, authentication, encryption, secure hosting, backups, logging and contractual controls.
No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed as completely secure. Use an agreed secure channel for sensitive operational information.
We retain information for as long as reasonably required for the purpose collected, contractual and professional obligations, legal requirements, dispute management and legitimate business records. It is deleted, de-identified or securely archived when no longer reasonably required.
Where applicable, suspected eligible data breaches will be assessed and handled under relevant legal requirements.
8. Access, correction and complaints
You may ask to access personal information we hold about you or correct information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. We may need to verify your identity and may limit a request where permitted by law.
